The Story

It all started yesterday (5/5/2020)

Someone on 4chan posts a thread, preparing a raid on Blockate. The raid would have started at around 6:20 pm EST.

Not much information is given from either the Discord server itself or the community.

It's now 5/6/2020

Leostickluke is browsing on 4chan, searching for raids. He sees the Blockate Raid post, and quickly goes on the Blockate discord informing everyone on the #media channel.

People quickly started asking him about the post, and if this all was real or not.

One of them was kpmaxo. When he got the link from Leostickluke, he did his part, and posted a screenshot on the same channel, telling the moderators to watch out.

As some people started getting more serious about this topic (on discord only), Setherdo22 knew Leostickluke too, and asked him for the link of the post.

While people started talking about the situation in #general, Setherdo22 kept finding information about the raid, and showing the archived posts to other users.

Soon, another post about Blockate Raid was uploaded, and as soon as they figured that out, Setherdo22 just realized that the raid will happen in 20 minutes.

The situation on discord got out of hand. (on the general channel at least)

10 minutes left

Leostickluke joins Blockate, warning people about the situation, a random throw away account (GeorgeBush4x2x0) starts spamming the chat with strong language and racist texts, soon, the spammer leaves the server and joins the one where Setherdo22 was, and kicks him.

So far, there had been only one raider joining Blockate servers, but that soon changed, as Fewkz deleted the Blockate discord server and private Blockate.

Blockate is not private anymore.

Soon, about 2 hours later, an announcement on Blockate wiki appeared: Fewkz had left the Blockate community, and that was the end of the tragedy.

The Blockate community still didn't know what was going on or what even happened, and some even still wonder what went down, so that's why this post was made, to tell everyone what really went down, continuing what Fewkz said and more specifically.

We hope you come back Fewkz, we really do.

And now, it's 5/7/2020

Things only got worse for the playerbase, a lot of Fewkz memorials have been created. An announcement was made, preparing everyone for an incoming update.
